Scanners follows Cameron Vale, a troubled drifter with telepathic abilities known as “scanning,” which allows him to read and violently control minds. Recruited by scientist Dr. Paul Ruth, Cameron is trained to use his powers and uncover the origins of scanners, who were created through a pharmaceutical drug. He is sent to stop Darryl Revok, a powerful and ruthless scanner leading a violent underground movement against non-scanners. As the conflict escalates, Cameron discovers a personal connection to Revok, culminating in a psychic showdown that explores themes of identity, power, and the dangers of manipulating human evolution.

Matt Stikker is a freelance illustrator and designer out of Portland, OR. His ability to bring to life various monsters, demons, and scenes straight out of the apocalypse has led to an extensive list of clients that include Relapse Records, Pig Destroyer, Power Trip, Metallica, and more.
