My Bloody Valentine

"My Bloody Valentine" is a 1981 Canadian slasher film directed by George Mihalka. The story is set in the mining town of Valentine Bluffs, where a tragic mining accident occurred years ago on Valentine's Day. As the town prepares to celebrate the holiday for the first time since the incident, a series of gruesome murders begins. The killer, donning mining gear and a gas mask, warns against celebrating Valentine's Day and seeks revenge for the past tragedy. As a group of friends tries to enjoy the festivities, they become targets of the mysterious murderer. The film is known for its atmospheric setting, creative kills, and a suspenseful plot that keeps the identity of the killer shrouded in mystery until the final act, contributing to its status as a cult classic within the slasher genre.
