Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is a darkly atmospheric gothic horror mystery following eccentric New York constable Ichabod Crane as he travels to the eerie village of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of gruesome murders. The locals insist the killings are the work of a terrifying headless horseman, a ghostly Hessian warrior who rides through the woods on a mission of supernatural vengeance. Armed with elaborate investigative gadgets, a healthy fear of blood, and approximately zero enthusiasm for the whole “ghost murdering people with a sword” situation, Ichabod begins uncovering a sinister conspiracy involving the town’s most powerful families, forbidden magic, and the Horseman’s mysterious connection to the living. With its fog-shrouded forests, decapitations, creepy folklore, and signature Burton weirdness, Sleepy Hollow is essentially a Victorian murder mystery that decided it needed considerably more severed heads.
