Jason Takes Manhattan

Jason Takes Manhattan (1989), officially Friday the 13th Part VIII, follows the seemingly indestructible Jason Voorhees as he is accidentally resurrected and ends up stalking a group of high school graduates aboard a cruise ship headed from Crystal Lake to New York City. As the voyage turns into a floating slaughterhouse, the terrified teens realize Jason is picking them off one by one, forcing the remaining survivors to fight back and escape once the ship docks in Manhattan. Jason continues his rampage through the city’s streets, pursuing his final targets while revealing fragments of his tragic past, before being ultimately defeated in the sewers of New York by toxic waste—at least temporarily, because, of course, Jason never stays dead.
