The Void

"The Void" is a 2016 horror film directed by Steven Kostanski and Jeremy Gillespie. The story revolves around a small-town sheriff and a group of people who become trapped in a hospital by a group of hooded cultists. As they struggle to survive, they soon discover that the hospital is undergoing a terrifying transformation, with its inhabitants turning into grotesque and otherworldly creatures. As reality becomes distorted and supernatural forces come into play, the group must confront their own fears and navigate a nightmarish reality while battling both the cultists and the eldritch horrors that threaten to consume them. The film blends elements of cosmic horror, body horror, and supernatural suspense, creating a dark and atmospheric narrative that pays homage to classic horror while offering a unique and unsettling experience.
