Event Horizon

"Event Horizon" is a 1997 sci-fi horror film directed by Paul W.S. Anderson that tells the story of a rescue crew that investigates a mysterious spaceship, the Event Horizon, which disappeared seven years earlier on its maiden voyage and has reappeared in a decaying orbit around Neptune. As the crew explores the ship, they begin to experience hallucinations and nightmares, and soon realize that the ship's experimental gravity drive has opened a gateway to a hellish dimension. The film is known for its blend of science fiction and horror, as well as its striking visual effects.
